My path led me to the health and wellness field in 2013. I was not feeling well, and recurring visits to the physician were getting me nowhere. I got advice from a friend to do research further about detoxification and all the benefits cleansing my body had to offer. This was a brand new concept to me but I decided this was what I needed to do to rebalance my system. After trying it with much success, it inspired me to dive into learning anything and everything I could get my hands on about this way of life. My journey took me in the many directions of Complementary Alternative Medicine, including natural remedies, yoga, and nutrition. My curiosity urged me to continue exploring. In 2014 I enrolled in a college program to pursue a Complementary Alternative Medicine Degree, and have never looked back. My inspiration for this practice is knowing there are people out there like myself, who have yet to discover that we can take our health into our own hands. We all have the power within ourselves to find the balance and harmony that allows us to live the most fulfilling lives. Through the lifestyle choices we make, we can feel healthy, happy, connected, and motivated. The most powerful tool we have is knowledge and when we learn how to use it, we are limitless. I want to lend an open heart and helping hand to empower others to flourish, succeed, and reach their goals.
My curiosity for the truth regarding health and wellness started when my father was diagnosed with cancer in 2013. During that time, I learned how important it is to educate ourselves on the reality of what happens within and around us so that we may take the appropriate steps to do whatever is within our power to help the situation. In 2014, I decided to attend the Institute of Integrative Nutrition for health coaching. It was a life changing choice that assisted me with my own personal growth and in return allowed me to be able to help others, something that I have always been passionate about. In 2015, I completed a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course that showed me how essential daily meditation is to our wellbeing. Through personal writing, meditation, ashtanga yoga, and eating clean I have discovered my own lovely self care rituals that guide me on my path. These wonderful discoveries opened my mind to the endless possibilities of what self care could do for anyone that may be seeking clarity in their own personal lives. I have dedicated myself, in honor of my father, to learn self-love through caring equally for the body, mind, and spirit so that we may live the best quality of life possible and, most importantly, to pass this onto others. My intentions with this practice is to lovingly provide knowledge on health and wellness as well as applicable methods so that we may put all of this beautiful knowledge into practice and live life for the sublime experience that it truly is.
