Below are three deliciously oily hair mask recipes and a nice heated oil rub instruction.
Eat your greens and rub them all over yourself (Avocado Hair Mask):
Ingredients: 1 ripe avocado
¼ cup of milk
1 tbsp of olive oil
Directions: Blend avocado until super smooth (the way you want your hair to be!) Mix in the milk and olive oil. Apply it from your roots to the ends and cover your hair with a shower cap. Leave as is for 15+ minutes (the longer you leave it the better the results). Rinse well with warm water.
Benefits: Our favorite fat source, the avocado, is packed with vitamins B and E. Vita B’s promote hair growth while vita E’s moisturizes the scalp and hair strands. Evool (extra virgin olive oil) contains anti inflammatory and antioxidant properties that promote scalp health and hair growth.
Modify: By including a banana into the mix, you'll be adding amino acids that protect your locks from damage and citric acid for shine.
Vitamin E and Yogurt Cantaloupe? (Yes, they can and should! Dorky, we know)
Ingredients: ¼ of cantaloupe
2 vitamin E capsules
a few tablespoons of organic yogurt
Directions: Blend cantaloupe and yogurt until super smooth (the way you want your hair to be!) Open up and mix in the vita E capsules. Apply it from your roots to the ends and cover your hair with a shower cap. Leave as is for 15+ minutes (the longer you leave it the better the results). Rinse well with warm water.
Benefits: The inositol in cantaloupe stimulates hair growth. It also assists in smoothing and conditioning hair. Vita E contain antioxidant properties that assist in repairing damaged hair follicles and prevent damaged tissue corrosion. Ingredients: 1 handful of ripe strawberries
1 tbsp of coconut oil
1 tbsp of honey

To top it off, it has antibacterial and antiseptic qualities which prevents infections or psoriasis of the scalp, keeping it clean, bacteria free, dandruff free, and itch free. It's the sweet ones that usually have that kick, BAMN
The Illuminating Grapeseed Oil Mask
Ingredients: Grapseed Oil (preferably organic and expeller pressed)
Directions: heat up oil and massage into hair, starting from the scalp down to the roots. Massage the scalp for a couple of minutes more then wrap hair with a hot towel. Leave on for 30 minutes to an hour or, better yet, overnight!
Benefits: This multi functional fruit is ideal for moisturizing because it's lighter than olive and coconut oil and will not leave your hair feeling greasy. It also assists in locking in the moisture and preventing frizz, split ends, and brittle hair. This baby girl is full of emollients and nutrients that can help stimulate the growth of healthy skin cells and contains antioxidants that may help in blocking the production of DHT, a hormone that causes hair loss.
Modify: This oil may also be used as a carrier by placing a drop or two of an essential oil, like jojoba, and rubbing it in a circular motion onto scalp. This stimulate blood flow, which in return, stimulates hair growth. It also prevents hair loss caused by cortisol, the stress hormone, because of the calming properties essential oils have.
