I have really been looking forward to writing about Cholorphyll. While visiting Miami last month, Ana Paula (a close friend of mine for over 10 years) excitingly told me about how she got rid of her acne. Her before and after pictures were remarkably breathtaking because the difference was immense. I asked her how long it took for that transformation to take place and her answer blew my mind, one month! We then walked over to Whole Foods to purchase this miracle product. Cholofresh, liquid Chlorophyll for less than $15. A bottle that lasts for a month or so. This was her miracle product. I went straight to researching what people had to say about beauty and Chlorophyll. What I found was that liquid Chlorophyll helped neutralize all bodily odors, helped diminish dark circles under your eyes, prevents and reduces wrinkles and dark spots, rids your skin of acne, and provides you with a healthy glow. The list goes on. Aside from beauty this miracle liquid regulates proper organ function, provides much needed oxygen to your cells, heals rashes and infections, and is a major antioxidant. I know how easy it is to read something like this and go “ooh” “ahh” then move but I took this product into my own hands to see what it could do. I have only been using it for 2 weeks and I can already tell the difference. The dry patches on my skin due to the frigid winter weather in NY are practically gone, the unmanageable itching on my legs and arms due to dryness has vanished, the dark circles under my eyes (something I have always struggled with) has been melting away, and my energy level has been high and steady (way better than any coffee I’ve ever had). I’ve also noticed a big change in my mood. It feels like I have been recalibrated and just like my energy level, it has been steadfast. I am forever grateful for Ana Paula’s transformation and her excitement that led her to pass this information along to me. This product is a must have addition to everyones vitamin routine.
Now, let’s get into what Chlorophyll is. Chlorophyll is a green pigment found in algae and plants. It’s vital in photosynthesis, the absorption of energy from light. Let’s soak up the beauty of this process for a moment. This compound, something that we can take for our well being, is what connects the sun to plants. It gives it energy and life. I see this as something that provides proper energy and oxygen that in return allows us to live more abundantly.
I’d like to provide you with some of the more important roles of Chlorophyll. This compound in your body binds to potential toxins, heavy metals, and carcinogens. It interferes with their destructive jobs, prevents absorption in the gastrointestinal track, and helps them move on out. By doing this, it protects the DNA from any damage or mutations that my lead to cancer and other chronic illnesses. Chlorophyll also maximizes the rate of phase II biotransformation enzymes which reinforces optimal health of the liver. A healthy liver translates into proper detoxification of toxins in the body, as well as, assisting in the prevention of liver cancer. Think about all the unhealthy foods and alcohol that has passed through your body. Our organs do not have superpowers. They’re not made to take on the world. It’s our responsibility to care for them and make sure that they too have help and restso that they may work properly and, in return, allow us to live more fully.
Chlorophyll may also substitute antibiotics because it slows the rate in which bad bacteria grow and unlike antibiotics, it’s alkalizing. This creates healthy pH levels in the gut promoting the growth and function of good bacteria. Remember, antibiotics kill good bacteria creating acidic levels in the gut to rise and higher possibilities for diseases to emerge. This is simply incredible and to think there are people out there assuming that antibiotics is the only answer to their health problems. Why take something in which you aren't even familiar with all it contains when there’s this natural and completely positive little pigment that’s much more helpful! The decrease in growth of bad bacteria also leads to lower levels of candida. Candida is when yeast overgrows in the gut, usually due to poor health choices. This infection leads to fatigue, depression, digestive problems, brain fog, cravings, hormone imbalance, and the list goes on. Taking something extremely alkalizing daily, such as Chlorophyll, assists you with maintaining a healthy and happy gut. Remember, your gut is your second brain. What you allow to pass through your gut will effect your brain. It will effect your mood, focus, memory, and thought patterns. You can be happier just by eating healthier and making sure you have the vitamins and minerals needed. This is not an opinion. It’s not based on doing the right thing. This is not what will make more more focused, driven, or happier. This is science based. Below are some links to assist you in learning a bit more about how the gut and brain are connected.
Now, how does all of this incredible information make you feel? Are you ready to order a bottle of liquid Chlorophyll or pass by your organic supermarket and pick up some delicious leafy greens and veggies? I personally, eat and drink my green veggies and take my daily dose of liquid Chlorophyll. Why? Because one serving, which is 2 tablespoons or 1 oz., of liquid Chlorophyll contains 132 mg. One cup of raw spinach contains 23.7 mg of Chlorophyll. It’s not easy keeping track of how many servings we eat and it’s usually not easy to get all of our recommended vitamins and minerals through food. Though obtaining our vitamins and minerals through food is the best option, we can take supplements to assist us with this daily task. Now get that green and experience the difference!
